Antipodean Series Rosewood Staunton Chess Pieces

A set of stunning rosewood chessmen that have been based on the Russian Zagreb design and features a distinctive bowing knight. These chess pieces have been made unique by having subtle aspects of opposing colour on a selection of pieces; the White King features a black Finial and visa versa appears on the Black King. The Black pieces have been meticulously crafted from fine Indian Rosewood and the White pieces are made from boxwood. As well as being finished to an extremely high standard the set is weighted and balanced perfectly making it not only a wonderfully ornate set but also one that is lovely to play.
