Sandringham Series Rosewood Staunton Chess Pieces

The Sandringham range of chessmen in Indian rosewood and boxwood by The Regency Chess Co. These chess pieces have come from the world's best creators of luxury chess pieces, hand turned and carved from the supreme quality graded Rosewood and clean light boxwood. Each piece has been carefully weighted and balanced, which is apparent as soon as you start moving them around the chess board. The design is very typically Staunton, exhibiting classic features such as wide moulded bases, concave shanks and beautifully sanded mitre slots.
The deep rich grain of the rosewood has been enhanced only by hand polishing using natural waxes and the uniformity of colour and grain throughout the set is impressive. Created in small runs of five at a time, these pieces are very exclusive and include a certificate of authenticity and four Queens.
