Italian made erable and elm wood chess board. The erable burr wood has been stained a deep, rich red colour and exhibits beautiful knotting and grain as only the finest burr veneers are chosen. The light elm wood is equally seductive and has an almost three dimensional depth. The board is coated in multiple layers of high quality gloss lacquer and the underside is also veneered and lacquered. Suitable for matching with either ebony or red sandalwood chess pieces.
