Hand made luxury folding wooden chess set crafted from solid ebony, rosewood and boxwood exotic woods. The finished product is simply phenomenal. The set combines a natural ebony top and rosewood cabinet, solid ebony and maple inlaid squares and quality brass hinges and closing clasps. It is hand finished and polished with natural beeswax to produce a wooden cabinet with a great depth of tone and colour and a product that is simply seductive when held in the hands.
Inside the cabinet, each wooden chess piece has its own shaped compartment space. The white chess pieces are carefully carved out of boxwood in the classic Staunton style while their opponents in ebonised boxwood.
